Beach Season is here and it's official. The beaches in Israel will be open to the public along with life guards until the beginning of October. Hundreds of thousands of Israelis and tourists from around the world are expected to visit the beaches of Israel this year.

The beach strip of the Mediterranean Sea is about 190 kilometers. The beaches of Israel are especially rich in a variety of values of nature, landscape, and legacy, which are an important part of the assets of the State of Israel.
The quality of the beaches
The Ministry of Environment is planning to rate the beaches according to their quality this year as well. The rating is determined based on different variables, among which are the quality of water, the cleanliness of the beach, and access to the disabled.
